Congratulations to Planet Circus on winning December’s Campaign of the Month. The seasonal advertising for their festive event went live from the beginning of December on Nottingham City Transport Buses.
Planet Circus is becoming one of the leading names in circus entertainment. Their circus performance brings traditional circus entertainment with a two-hour production for all the family. Planet Circus teamed up with Circus Rio during the festive period. The company decided to broadcast their event by advertising on the Nottingham buses, which provided the festive advertising they needed.
Their show, which ran for a total of 11 nights, was a huge success in Hucknall Nottingham. In addition, the show ran from the 26th December – 5th January, each show was highly successful and tickets sales boomed. Planet Circus promised thrills, dangerous circus acts, high speed skills and plenty of laughs. With the help of bus advertising, Planet Circus was able to promote their event across Nottingham to its target audience. You can clearly see from the photograph, that this bus advertisement really stands out.

Their Seasonal Advertising Campaign
Planet Circus opted for 15 Super Edge bus advertisements all with Nottingham City Transport on a four week contract throughout December. Their bus advertisements where fitted to random routed buses giving the campaign maximum exposure within the local area. When Mike, our Sales and Commercial Director, had his first initial appointment with the performance company, he advised them on how fast we could get the campaign up and running. The campaign was signed in late October and on the road by the very beginning of December. It was important to us as a team to make this event advertisement stand out as advertising throughout December is a huge market. Our design team worked closely with our Campaign Delivery Manager to successfully deliver a fantastic bus advert to showcase in and around the city centre.
