Therefore, we are delighted to announce the winner of Adverta’s campaign of the month for December 2021 is Oxford Business College, which deserves an A+, with their local advertising campaign.
The Oxford Business College advert is on the whole back of the bus, targeting both drivers and pedestrians, commonly referred to as a “moving billboard”. They are eye-catching and can be on the bus for up to two years thanks to the high-quality long-life vinyl we choose.
Mr. Sarwar Khawaja, Chairman, Business Development of the College has said “Oxford Business College is a pioneer of widening participation. We welcome students from diverse backgrounds, orientations, and cultures. This campaign has helped us a lot to reach out to the BAME communities, and we will keep on exploring such ways of engagement.”
Oxford Business College was founded in 1985. They pride themselves on being a college of the 21st Century, with modern educational practices using digital technology to make it a practical and involved learning experience.
They have campuses in London, Oxford, Slough, Coventry, and Nottingham. The Nottingham campus offers well-equipped classrooms, I.T. labs, a library, and a communal student area. The students can make use of study rooms with free wireless internet access. It boasts a quiet learning environment for staff and students alike. There are flexible study options including weekend and summer study options.

Tina has stated, “I really enjoyed working on this campaign. We looked at several options but decided on the Double-Deck Mega Rears initially. I strategically placed the 10 buses on key routes in and out of the city, utilising main roads but that also cover areas in the suburbs too, to target a wider audience and give a nice frequency. The buses are so visible in the city and certainly made an impact already as the client informed me that since the buses went live in mid-December, they have noticed a surge in admissions, and the buses have been the talk of the college with staff and students always seeing them”.
