Our Regional Account Manager, Will, first approached the Rotherham-based college back in 2019 over the phone, introducing himself and explaining the various products and services we offer through outdoor advertising. The college had previously used a mix of outdoor, online, radio and print advertising and decided to try bus advertising as it reaches a wide audience targeting both prospective students and their parents/carers.
Over the last year, Thomas Rotherham College has continued to use one particular bus panel type, the Super Rear. We asked Carolyn what it was about this panel that appealed most to the college and she said they had been impressed with the deal offered to her. Both bus companies are located in and cover the South Yorkshire area where the college is located. By selecting these two bus companies they were able to cover their target audience and reach maximum exposure within the college’s local area.

Finally, we asked Carolyn what she felt the best three things about using bus advertising are and she responded: “Bus advertising provides a great opportunity to share our message to a wider audience and the price and longevity of the campaigns make bus advertising a great option.” She also added that the buses are able to facilitate less mainstream routes, ensuring their message is seen across a wider area.
